The Northern Virginia BrewFest “A World Beer Experience” will be held on September 27-28, 2008, at Bull Run Regional Park in Centreville, VA from 11am-8pm Saturday and 11am-7pm Sunday. The BrewFest will feature over 40 of the world’s best breweries pouring their beers, and plenty of tasty food. The event is RAIN OR SHINE so come on out and if we get some sprinkles we’ll just hide under some tents until the sun starts shining again! -

Holiday Bazaar

Savor a little art, live music, beer tasting, and hot soup at the brewery during The Holiday Bazaar on Saturday November 17 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Come in to shop for meaningful gifts, take a brewery tour, or relax to the sounds of local musicians.
The bazaar will feature local artists with a variety of unique goods for sale. Included are photographs, handmade note cards, watercolor paintings, evergreen wreaths, knit and sewn items, beaded jewelry with semiprecious stones, animal skin pillows and belts, herbal products and soaps, gourmet foods, unusual landscape plants, hand-embroidered wall hangings, and much more. An area for children's activities will also be on-site.

"Charlottesville Inside-Out" Premiere
Posted: Oct 23, 2007"Charlottesville Inside-Out" is a brand new, original weekly talk show created by the folks at WHTJ and hosted by popular performing artist Terri Allard. Each thirty-minute episode is filmed around the region and in WHTJ’s studios on the Downtown Mall, featuring interviews that explore the people and places that define Charlottesville. The first season of “Charlottesville Inside-Out" kicks off with an interview of Mark Thompson, brewmaster at Starr Hill Brewery in Crozet; and Susanne Kogut, executive director of the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA.
The show will premiere on November 8 at 8:30 and will air on WHTJ Charlottesville PBS (Channel 41, Cable 7). Please visit WHTJ for more information.

As the name implies, Capitol City Carnival will feature a carnival theme and nationally known entertainment. This will be unlike any beer event you do this year. CCC is a unique outdoor tasting event that will feature Mainstage National acts on the cutting edge of today’s musical scene, beer tastings from 50+ breweries, Ferris wheel, burlesque tent, vendors, and unique concessions, with a classic retro-carnival ambience.

Virginia Beer Cup

The third annual Virginia Beer Cup is going to be held in Charlottesville, VA. This event features the best beers brewed in Virginia. Virginia has a long history of brewing beer dating back to the founding fathers of the country. Today, Virginia features over 15 craft breweries and both a Budweiser and Coors brewery making Virginia one of the top beer producing states in the country. The award ceremony's will be held on Saturday, October 7th at the Charlottesville Pavilion with musical talents of Delbert McClinton. -
Great American Beer Festival

The Great American Beer Festival is described as the Super Bowl of beer. It is held every year in Denver Colorado, and features over 1,800 different beers from some 450 breweries. The event is held in the city's convention center and the breweries are broken up by regions. The consumers try one ounce samples from as many breweries as they like for a flat fee. If you were to try one ounce from every brewery it would come out to drinking over 30 cases of beer. There are that many breweries. -
Shokoe Bottom Beer Festival

Nelson County Music Festival
